NCSOFT’s Blade & Soul 2 Unveils Service Roadmap for 2024

Blade & Soul 2 will initiate significant changes approaching its third anniversary in 2024, propelling forward with a launch in China.

NCSOFT is set to elevate Blade & Soul 2 through the introduction of a distinctive combat system, diverse content offerings, and the expansion of global services.

NCSOFT today unveiled the 2024 service plan for its multi-platform MMORPG, ‘Blade & Soul 2.’

Blade & Soul 2 is gearing up for significant changes as it approaches its third anniversary in 2024. The game is set to undergo content reform aimed at expediting character growth, reducing the disparity among players, and offering new players diverse opportunities for progression.

On December 22, 2023, NCSOFT secured a license from China for the launch of Blade & Soul 2 in the country. Currently undergoing localization, the game is targeted for launch in China in 2024. The goal is to continue the success of its predecessor, the original PC MMORPG 'Blade & Soul,' which garnered significant popularity in the Chinese market. To cater to local user preferences, Blade & Soul 2 is preparing to introduce various content enhancements, including:

Character progression centered around dungeon play

Enhanced battle action supporting both PC and mobile platforms

    Graphic refinement and optimization

Expansion of PvP and adventure content such as playpen and arena matches

Since its launch in August 2021, Blade & Soul 2 has adopted substantial changes in direct response to user feedback. These enhancements include improved combat mechanics for a more action-packed experience and restructuring of party and dungeon content. Looking ahead to 2024, NCSOFT remains committed to implementing further ongoing enhancements in Blade & Soul 2, with plans to expand the game's availability in other territories, including China, marking a significant leap forward.
