NCSOFT today announced a collaboration between its upcoming title CINDER CITY (developed by BigFire Games) and Korea’s iconic rock band, YB.
CINDER CITY, a new MMO tactical shooter slated for a 2026 launch, features YB’s modern metal track Orchid in its latest trailer. The track, the lead single from YB’s latest album Odyssey, provides the trailer’s high-energy musical backdrop.
The trailer, unveiled at Gamescom 2025 in Cologne, Germany, pairs dynamic shooting gameplay with the intensity of Orchid, conveying CINDER CITY’s central theme: resilience and the pursuit of hope amid devastation.
Jaehyun Bae, CEO of BigFire Games, said, “CINDER CITY tells the story of humanity reigniting hope in a city reduced to ashes, while Orchid reflects the search for courage and light within despair. The narratives naturally aligned, making this collaboration a powerful fit. We plan to continue exploring music integration throughout development to further deepen player immersion.”
Do Hyun Yoon, lead vocalist of YB, added, “We are thrilled to introduce Orchid to global fans through NCSOFT’s CINDER CITY. I hope the track blends naturally into the game and helps elevate the overall experience.”
The collaborative trailer featuring CINDER CITY and Orchid is available on the official CINDER CITY website.
