NCSOFT officially launched its new collectible MMORPG ‘HOYEON’ today.

Starting at 10 AM today, HOYEON is now available for download and play in Korea, Japan, and Taiwan. Players can access the game on NCSOFT’s cross-play platform PURPLE, as well as on Google Play, Apple App Store, and Galaxy Store.

Set three years before NCSOFT’s popular IP ‘Blade & Soul’, HOYEON invites players to dive into the story of its protagonist, Yusol, who embarks on a quest to restore her family’s legacy. Throughout her journey, players will encounter diverse characters and uncover their hidden stories.

Players can strategically build decks by selecting teams from over 60 unique heroes to tackle various challenges. The game uniquely blends real-time field battles, where control and team composition are crucial, with a turn-based combat mode that offers additional strategic depth. A switching feature allows players to seamlessly transition between these two battle modes.

To celebrate the launch of HOYEON, NCSOFT is hosting various in-game events. Players can join the ‘Miao’s 7-Day Festival,’ where completing daily missions throughout the week will earn them valuable rewards, including ‘Divinites’ and ‘Hero Recruitment Boards.’ Completing the first-day mission grants a ‘Special Hero Guaranteed Ticket.’ Additionally, the ‘Invite Star Hero’ event, running until September 11, allows players to recruit heroes once per day, with guaranteed rewards such as ‘Yura’ and ‘Sansu’ after 30 recruitments.
