NCSOFT announced the upcoming update for its collectible MMORPG, HOYEON, featuring the introduction of new boss dungeon ‘Martis’ arriving on October 16.

In the Developer’s Letter released on October 10, HOYEON’s Captain Kihwan Ko outlined the forthcoming changes, highlighting class care and enhancements to guild content.

‘Martis’, the new Poison-type boss, will arrive on October 16. This challenging new dungeon will require players to work in close cooperation, with each party member playing a vital role to secure victory. Those who manage to defeat Martis will be rewarded with a variety of valuable items, including the Arong Ring.

Additionally, the update introduces a new Epic Monster, ‘Thrall’. Players must skillfully navigate shadow mechanics that spawn periodically and dodge the ‘Song of the Undead’ to secure victory. Those who conquer ‘Thrall’ will earn rewards such as the ‘Battle Token’.

In response to player feedback, HOYEON will also implement a range of improvements to enhance the overall gameplay experience. These include a comprehensive rework of Epic Quest rewards, balance adjustments for Heroes and Sinsupae, and reduced team power requirements for certain boss encounters. The update will further expand Monster Tome and Divine Sigil and introduce new Heirloom Skills.
