NCSOFT today introduced new PvP content, ‘Siege’, to its idle MMORPG, Journey of Monarch.

Siege is a tournament-style PvP mode where 32 Blood Pledges compete to prove their strength. Each Blood Pledge can field up to 24 members, and matches proceed in a 1v1 format based on the lineup designated by the Monarch. The tournament spans five rounds—from the Round of 32 to the Finals—to determine the most powerful Blood Pledge.

The winning Blood Pledge will receive rewards including Mythic Dice, Mythic Hero Summon Tickets, and Mythic Magic Doll Summon Tickets. The victorious Blood Pledge will also gain ownership of Kent Castle for one week. The first-ever champion will receive an exclusive Mythic Monarch Costume as an additional reward.

Journey of Monarch also adds a new Legend-grade Hero, Iris. Iris is a water-element, defense-type hero who uses skills such as Frozen Spike to damage enemies while granting shields and Damage Resistance Ignore buffs to allies.

The Arena point system has also been revamped. Players now earn 56 points for a win (up from 14) and lose 45 points for a defeat (up from 15). These changes, announced via the Channel Journey livestream and CM Tips, reflect feedback from the player community.
