NCSOFT welcomes Byungmoo Park, leveraging his extensive background in corporate management, strategy development, and investment.

Driving NCSOFT’s global expansion, Park’s appointment will reinforce the company’s commitment to advancing its global corporate capabilities.

NCSOFT, a global premier developer and publisher, today announced the addition of Byungmoo Park, currently the managing director at VIG Partners, to its executive leadership team.

In pursuit of its mid- to long-term corporate strategy aimed at uncovering new growth opportunities and fortifying its leap toward becoming a global industry leader, NCSOFT has strategically recruited Park as a co-CEO candidate for the company.

Started his legal career as a lawyer at Kim & Chang, Park has held various leadership roles, including CEO of Plenus Entertainment (formerly known as Locus Holdings), head of Korea and partner at TPG Asia (Newbridge Capital), CEO of Hanaro Telecom, and managing partner at VIG Partners. As a professional executive, Park brings a wealth of experience and expertise in corporate management, strategy development, and investment.

NCSOFT expects Park’s multifaceted skills will be instrumental in steering the company through a transformative leap toward becoming a global enterprise.

The formal confirmation of his appointment is scheduled to take place during the board and general shareholders’ meetings in 2024.
