NC today announced the vision and strategic intent behind its new corporate name.
The new name, NC, stands for ‘Next & Creative’. It reflects the company’s commitment to creating new value for the next generation, grounded in a spirit of bold challenge and creativity toward the future.
Co-CEOs Taekjin Kim and Byungmoo Park shared the vision in an internal email to employees, stating, “Our mission is to generate new value by building on NC’s core philosophy of challenge and creativity.” They added, “We encourage every member to take a more proactive and ambitious role as creators of the future, and to lead the way in defining what lies ahead.”
With this change, NC has completed its brand renewal initiative launched in 2020. As part of this effort, the company introduced a refreshed corporate identity (CI) by removing ‘SOFT’ from its logo and visually connecting the letters ‘N’ and ‘C’.
The renewed CI reflects NC’s evolution beyond games into a game-focused company into a broader technology, content, and platform-driven business. Through this transformation, NC aims to continue creating innovative experiences and entertainment powered by advanced technologies.
