NCSOFT Announces Pre-Download for AION 2 Beginning November 16

Pre-installation available through NCSOFT’s cross-platform service, PURPLE; gameplay begins at midnight on November 19

Early character customization available on PC with extensive, highly detailed creation options

NCSOFT announced today that pre-downloads for its upcoming MMORPG, AION 2, will open on November 16, ahead of its official launch.

From 12:00 PM (KST) on November 16 through 11:59 PM on November 18, players can pre-install AION 2 via PURPLE, NCSOFT’s cross-platform gaming service. Those who complete the installation will gain access to early character creation between 2:00 PM on November 16 and 12:00 PM on November 18.

Featuring over 200 customization options, AION 2 offers players an exceptional level of creative freedom and detail when designing their characters.

Serving as the official sequel to NCSOFT’s flagship MMORPG franchise, AION, AION 2 represents the series’ ultimate evolution—significantly expanding on the original title with:

A world 36 times larger than before
Seamless freedom of movement through flight and swimming
Skill-based manual combat built around precise impact timing

Attendees of G-STAR 2025, beginning November 13, will have an opportunity to experience AION 2 firsthand ahead of its launch. NCSOFT will showcase the game in a 300-booth B2C exhibition space, featuring both the character creation system and a hands-on demo of one of its signature dungeons, Urugugu Canyon.

AION 2 is scheduled for official launch at midnight on November 19. Additional details about pre-download and early character creation access are available on the official AION 2 website and YouTube channel.
