Eight out of Ten CBT Players Returned and Played for a Second Consecutive Day; Launching on iOS, Android and PC in 2027
NC (formerly NCSOFT) today released an infographic highlighting player feedback from Astrae Oratio’s Closed Beta Test (CBT).
The five-day CBT ran from Friday, October 2 through Tuesday, October 6, offering players an early glimpse into three main story chapters and two mini stories; combat quests with various difficulty levels; the “Score Trial” boss challenge, where players compete for high scores; and “Free Time” mode, which lets players interact with the game’s characters outside of the main story.
Player feedback was overwhelmingly positive. According to the game’s post-CBT survey:
93% of respondents said they intend to play Astrae Oratio after launch
86.7% of respondents reported a positive first impression of the game
More than 80% of respondents praised the game’s story and characters
Astrae Oratio also generated strong engagement from players around the world, reaching the following milestones during the CBT:
Players logged nearly 80,000 hours of total play time
Combat scenarios were attempted more than 1.13 million times
The “Score Trial” boss challenge was cleared nearly 20,0000 times
Eight out of ten players returned and played on a second consecutive day
NC plans to utilize gameplay data and player feedback collected during the CBT to support further development and prepare for the game’s launch on iOS and Android devices, with a PC release to follow, in 2027. Published by NC and developed by Dynamis One, Astrae Oratio is an upcoming anime RPG set in a world where magic and everyday life coexist.
