PANGYO, Korea (September 25, 2024) – NCSOFT today announced a major content update for HOYEON, a new limited-time hero, Poharan.

Originally a boss character from Blade & Soul, Poharan makes her debut in HOYEON as a Fire-type ranged attacker. Poharan’s leader passive skill allows players to switch between targeted basic attacks and Area of Effect (AOE) attacks. Additionally, a limited-edition costume, ‘Devil of the Land’, is now available for Poharan. To assist players with leveling Poharan, the ‘Welcome New Hero Boost’ event will run until October 30.

The update also introduces a new Patron, Blush, who offers powerful buffs, including reduced cooldown for Specialty Skills, increased extra damage across all types, and boosted extra Fire-type damage. A special summoning event with increased chances to summon Blush is available until October 30.

A new season of the Challenge Dungeon has begun, allowing players to earn Trial Keys based on the floors they conquer. These keys can be exchanged for items such as Incinerating Fire, Poharan Ultimate Specialty Skill Tome, Poharan Skill Tome, and Fire Hero Enhancing Soul.

NCSOFT has also launched a new server, Yehara, where players will be rewarded with various items, including three Special Hero Guaranteed Tickets, three Master Hero Recruit Tickets, 100 Hero Recruiting Boards, and 1,400 Divinites.

In response to player feedback, HOYEON has made balance adjustments: reducing the difficulty of the Moonwater Plains, while increasing both the challenge and rewards for content in The Cinderlands and Moonwater Plains. New equipment and accessories have also been introduced.
