NCSOFT today announced the opening of a new world, Deekal, in Journey of Monarch, along with a wide range of events designed for both new and returning players.

Deekal is introduced as a Rebirth World, operating independently from existing worlds with a different content progression pace. In this world, matchmaking for core content such as the Barracks and Arena is limited exclusively to players within Deekal. All newly created accounts will automatically begin their journey in Deekal.

Players entering Deekal can enjoy a variety of exclusive benefits. The world-specific Monarch’s Return Roulette provides essential growth materials and the Ad Removal Monthly Plan, while the Deekal Commemoration Roulette offers a chance to acquire Mythic-grade cards.

To celebrate the opening of the Deekal world, NCSOFT also released a special coupon for all players. By redeeming the code posted on the official Journey of Monarch website, players can claim valuable growth items such as the Mythic Hero Selection Chest and the Mythic Magic Doll Selection Chest. The coupon may be used once per account and is valid across all worlds.

A series of update-wide events also begin on February 4. The Stage Boosting Event will reduce the number of monsters required for stage progression to one quarter across all worlds. The event runs through February 11 for existing worlds and February 18 for the Deekal world.

Returning players who have been inactive for 28 days or more can participate in the Returning Monarch Settlement Support Benefits. Over a period of up to 35 days, players can complete stage progression missions to earn rewards, including the new Mythic-grade item Challenger’s Gear, the Lindvior Set Gear Selection Chest, and the Valakas Set Gear Selection Chest, all included in the Return Monarch Gear Selection Chest. A comprehensive Journey Guide is also available to help returning players advance step by step while earning additional bonuses.

In celebration of the Lunar New Year, new seasonal content is now available. Players who have cleared Stage 2,001 can enjoy the Spooky Lunar New Year board game through February 19 to earn various rewards. The Spooky Lunar New Year Dungeon is open until February 25, offering Spooky Lunar New Year Dungeon Coins and Spooky Lunar New Year Board Game Dice upon successful completion. The event currency can be exchanged in the event shop for items such as the buff item Tteokguk and 12-Sided Dice (Transcendent).
