NCSOFT has opened a new server, ‘Heine’, and introduced a series of events for its idle MMORPG, Journey of Monarch.

The new server, ‘Heine’, operates independently from existing servers, with matchmaking for Barracks and Arena content limited to within the Heine server. All new players joining the game will automatically begin their journey on the Heine Server.

Coinciding with the server launch, Journey of Monarch expanded the maximum stage limit from 35,000 to 65,000 with the addition of the new region, Heine. Players can now explore expanded content and acquire additional rewards to further enhance their Monarchs and Heroes.

The update also introduces a new item, the Resonance Stone of Combat. Automatically granted when Cockatrice or Brown Horse mount is upgraded to Hero-grade, this item unlocks the Monarch skill Meteor Strike when equipped, dealing area-of-effect damage and boosting the Attack power of all Heroes.

NCSOFT is offering various special events to celebrate the update. All players will receive the Mythic-grade Hero Dragon Slayer via in-game mail.

Players on the Heine server can participate in an exclusive ‘28-day Attendance Event’, offering additional rewards such as Hero EXP, Adena, and Legend-grade Hero Guaranteed Summon Ticket upon daily login.

Additionally, Heine server players can purchase the ‘Ad removal 28-day pass package’ for 100 Adena, available as a one-time offer. Players on other servers can access an ‘Ad removal 14-day subscription package’ via attendance check-in events.

A Stage Boosting Event is live across all servers until April 30 at 5 AM. It significantly reduces the number of monsters required to clear each stage, allowing for faster progression.

Also underway is Monarch Code: Season 2, a cross-game event that connects Journey of Monarch with the Lineage IP mobile titles: Lineage M, Lineage 2M, and Lineage W. Players can complete tasks in Journey of Monarch to earn rewards redeemable in the linked titles. Additional in-game events—such as Attendance Check-ins, Special Mail rewards, and Event Dungeons—are also available.
