NCSOFT announced today that its upcoming anime RPG, ‘BREAKERS: UNLOCK THE WORLD ’ (developed by VIC Game Studios), was featured at Niconico Chokaigi 2025, Japan’s leading subculture festival.

Organized by Kadokawa, Niconico Chokaigi is Japan's largest subculture festival. Held in Tokyo from April 26 to 27, this year’s event attracted over 130,000 visitors. Kadokawa is also the local marketing partner for BREAKERS in Japan.

At its booth, BREAKERS offered visitors hands-on gameplay, along with mini-games and exclusive prize giveaways. During a live stage presentation in collaboration with Kadokawa, the team also revealed plans to further expand the BREAKERS universe through upcoming light novels and serialized comics adaptations. The BREAKERS character cosplay further captured the attention of local subculture fans.

BREAKERS: UNLOCK THE WORLD is a subculture-inspired anime RPG developed by VIC Game Studios and published by NCSOFT. The title will be available on both PC and mobile, with global pre-registration set to begin in the second half of 2025.
