NCSOFT has announced a major update roadmap and plans for its latest MMORPG, THRONE AND LIBERTY (TL).
NCSOFT hosted an offline user conference, ‘TL MEET UP’, on June 22 at NCSOFT R&D Center in Pangyo. During the event, detailed plans for the major update ‘The Leap’ were revealed, along with a teaser video for the new region ‘Talandre’. The conference lasted over four hours and included an ‘Unlimited Q&A’ session where player suggestions and live inquiries were addressed. NCSOFT plans to actively incorporate the feedback received during the event to improve the user experience.
The ‘The Leap’ update focuses on expanding combat through customizable features such as ‘Skill Specialization,’ enhancing the character progression with new dynamics, and introducing the new region ‘Talandre’ with extensive contents. These new features will be rolled out sequentially starting from July 24.
NCSOFT will update ‘Skill Specialization’ system, allowing players to customize weapon skills with up to five specialties to create unique combinations. Specialization points will be distributed equally based on character level.
Various updates will follow to further enhance character growth experience. The normal difficulty of six-person party dungeons will be eased to increase the chances of acquiring equipment. The ‘Challenge Dimenstion’, consisting a total of 30 stages, will be added, allowing players to select dungeons suited to various stages of growth.
