NCSOFT today announced that its MMORPG, THRONE AND LIBERTY (TL, developed by FirstSpark Games) has updated new raid content, Altar of Calanthia.
Players can now participate in this new 12-player raid beginning June 26 at 8 PM (KST). The recommended combat power is 5,000 for Normal mode and 6,000 for Difficult mode. Conquering this raid rewards players with new Unique-grade equipment and materials such as Chaos Soul Shard: Calanthia, used for crafting gears.
The Altar of Calanthia is divided into three zones , each featuring a distinct boss encounter:
- Zone 1: Dragar’yle’ requires teamwork and positioning in tight spaces.
- Zone 2: Vulcan & Xiros requires two separate parties working in coordination.
- Zone 3: Calanthia, involves a complex fight that alternates between the phases of ‘Reality’ and ‘Chaos’.
The new Unique-grade equipment is available in weapons and armors, where players can only equip one of each. With the new system in place, players can extract Skill Cores from either an Epic Tier 1 arch boss Weapon or an Epic Tier 2+ Weapon and apply them to Unique-grade weapons.
NCSOFT is hosting the ‘Calanthia, Chaos Incarnate’ event until July 9. Players will be rewarded with varying amounts of Chaos Soul Shard: Calanthia based on first clear, clear rankings, and raid proficiency. The first 12 players who complete Difficult mode will receive a special in-game title and 100 Chaos Soul Shards. During the event, the ‘Dimensional Circle Double-Up’ will also be active, doubling reward claims for 2- to 3-star Dimensional Circles.
Two new arch bosses, Queen Bellandir and Teven, have also been added. These encounters are available in two modes—Conflict and Peace—and can be challenged twice a week. The Conflict mode is an open-field combat encounter. Defeating these new arch bosses grants weapons with stronger skill options than existing ones.
