NC today announced that THRONE AND LIBERTY (TL), developed by FirstSpark Games, will launch its major update, The Frozen Divide: Nix, on June 25, with a dedicated teaser website now live.

The teaser website, unveiled on May 20, highlights key features arriving with the update, including the new region Nix, the Aethersuit traversal mechanic, and the new Gauntlets weapon.

Nix is a vast frozen tundra untouched by both the Resistance and the Arkeum Legion, and will become the largest region ever added to TL. The update will also introduce a range of new content, including a new Archboss and Dimensional Trials.

A new traversal mechanic, the Aethersuit, will allow players to navigate the frozen landscapes of Nix with greater freedom. Powered by magical engineering, the Aethersuit enables players to descend from towering heights and glide across long distances. Players will be able to travel through the skies of Nix via the Auroral Path.

The new weapon Gauntlets will also be added. The Gauntlets are a combat weapon that blends survivability, aggression, and mobility, allowing players to switch stances and adopt a Tank/DPS hybrid playstyle. The update will additionally raise the level cap from 55 to 60.

In the lead-up to the update on June 25, NC will release weekly CM Diary previews featuring in-depth looks at The Frozen Divide: Nix, including the new region, new weapons, and other upcoming features. Additional unrevealed content will be showcased on June 16.
