PANGYO, Korea (July 3, 2024) – NCSOFT today announced that its latest MMORPG, THRONE AND LIBERTY (TL), is hosting ‘Beat the Summer Heat!’ event and introducing a new content ‘Arena’.

The ‘Beat the Summer Heat!’ event runs until July 24, allowing players to conquer one-star and two-stars dungeons to acquire Chilling Ice from Clear Reward Chests. Chilling Ice can be exchanged for other useful items, including Icy Talem, Trait Unlockstone, and Precious Base Material Selection Chest, by interacting with an Event Item Exchange Merchant in any village.

Players can also complete the Resistance Contract, an event quest that begins by interacting with a Contract Manager in the village, to collect a buff item called ‘Ice-Cold Ice Cream’, which increases critical hit damage and accuracy against bosses and players. Additionally, Dimensional Contract Tokens, required for opening Clear Reward Chests, will be delivered via in-game mail every Friday to Sunday for the next three weeks.

TL is launching the ‘Arena Pre-Season’ until August 21. The Arena is a new PvP feature where individuals or teams of three can battle, with an inter-server matching system that allows players from all servers to participate. It offers three modes: Normal Match, Ranked Match, and Friendly Match. Players can also join ‘The World’s Greatest Brawl Tournament’ event to claim various titles based on match records until July 10.
