NCSOFT and Amazon Games have announced that THRONE AND LIBERTY (TL) will launch globally on October 1. Players who purchased the Early Access Pack will be able to access the game starting on September 26.

Amazon Games, the global publisher of TL, announced via its official website that the launch date has been shifted to October 1. NCSOFT and Amazon Games will accommodate valuable player feedback and advance TL experience in several key areas, including combat enhancements, progression adjustments, and guild-matching systems. Additionally, it will incorporate some of the systems and quality of life improvements newly implemented in the live Korean version of TL, including the Skill Specialization system, fishing and cooking systems, and the ‘Amitoi Expeditions’, all of which have received positive feedback from players.

In July, NCSOFT and Amazon Games held an open beta for TL ahead of its upcoming global launch. According to SteamDB, the beta attracted a peak of 60,000 concurrent players on its first day, making TL the #1 ranked MMORPG on Steam.

“We had an incredible showing of players who came to check out THRONE AND LIBERTY and that’s left us feeling confident and excited about the turnout we’re going to get when the game launches,” says Laura Sturr, GM of Operations at Amazon Games. “As with any beta we received great feedback and uncovered some things that need adjusting, and we’re grateful for that because it allows us to remedy them prior to our launch.”

On September 26, Amazon Games will open an early access server ahead of the official global launch. Players from North and South America, the United Kingdom, Europe, Australia, and Japan will be able to join on PC via Steam, as well as on PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series S|X platforms.
