    Bugbear

    #Human type

“A bugbear will come to bad kids and eat off their heads first.”
Bugbears are fictional beings created in medieval UK to frighten the kids that did not go home until late at night to play. They hide and appear once the sun goes down to eat kids up. They were commonly described as hairy bears and large goblins.

    Bugbear in popular culture

Game 〈Dungeons & Dragons(D&D)〉 series: The bugbears in 〈D&D〉 series are relatives of goblins and are the tribe that has a strong power and likes to hunt.

    Bugbear in Lineage

In Lineage series, bugbears hold a bat in one hand and are depicted as a fat human-type monster covering only the most private part. They look closer to Dokkaebi (Korean Goblin) than to hairy bears as depicted in the western world. On the Ashen Village of 〈Lineage W〉, players may see bugbears tied up to a tree and screaming in an unintelligible language. Once a player turns into a bugbear, they may get access to a hidden quest given from a bugbear.
